yes so

you are confusing the ORG with the Domain. When you send an e-mail your notes domain is appended to the end of your notes name. So Jon Doe/SALES/ACME@ACMECO is the address in the saved e-mail. When you reply to the existing e-mail after merging domains the reply address will still be Jon Doe/SALES/ACME@ACMECO. When the server attempts to route the mail to the ACMECO notes domain, which no longer exists, it returns the no route found to domain error to the sender.
